Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's volleyball team lost to Frostburg State University, 3-1 in non-conference action on Friday night.
The set scores were 25-22, 21-25, 15-19 and 25-21. The Profs have an overall record of 3-10 and the Bobcats have a mark of 7-8.

Erica O'Hagan (sr. Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) tallied 10 kills. Middle hitter/opposite
Jamie Shirtz (so. Menham, NJ/West Morris Mendham) collected nine kills and two blocks. Outside hitter
Kailey Gallagher (fr. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) had nine kills, while outside hitter
Megan Jacobi (fr. Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) added eight. Setter
Kat Wolf (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) accumulated 15 assists and 16 digs. Setter
Katelyn Paxson (fr. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) chipped in with 14 assists and 13 digs. Middle hitter
Erin Keegan (so. Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) had 23 digs. Libero/defensive specialist
Jennifer Vorel (sr. Madison, NJ/Madison) and defensive specialist/libero
Rebecca Dantonio (sr. Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) chipped in with 16 and 15 digs respectively.
Outside hitter Chelsea Parrinello (jr. Westminster, MD/Westminster) led Frostburg State with 13 kills. Middle hitter/outside hitter/right side Zoe Harris (jr. Waynesboro, PA/Waynesboro) tallied 11 kills and defensive specialist Karli Grimes (jr. Williamsport, MD/Williamsport) added 10 kills and six digs. Setter Madelyn Torres (jr. Vienna, VA/James Madison) recorded 30 assists and 12 digs. Defensive specialist Lindsey Scepura (jr. Ellicott City, MD/Mt. Hebron) accumulated 27 digs, while defensive specialist Cori Smothers (fr. Fort Lauderdale, FL/Pompano Beach) had 17.
The opening set was tied at five then Frostburg State used an 8-3 run for a 13-8 lead. The Bobcats never relinquished the advantage, although Rowan got to within one point, three times, including 23-22. Frostburg State scored the final two points of the set on a kill by Parrinello and a Rowan error.
Rowan jumped out to a 5-1 advantage in set two, but the Bobcats stormed back and took a 7-6 lead. Frostburg State extended the advantage to 13-9 then the Profs tallied four straight to tie the set at 13. The set was tied six more times, including at 21. Rowan scored the final four points, including an ace by Paxson and a kill by Gallagher to win the set.
The Bobcats opened up a 6-1 lead in the third stanza. Rowan trailed 14-9 then used a 6-1 run to tie it at 14. The set was tied at 17, but Frostburg used an 8-2 spurt to win the set. Grimes ended the set with a kill and a service ace.
Set four was tight early on and the score was tied at nine. Frostburg tallied seven of the next nine points for a 16-11 lead. Rowan chipped away and tied it 21 on a kill by Jacobi. The Bobcats converted the final four points of the set to win the match.
Rowan travels to Cabrini College on Saturday, Sept. 24 for an 11 a.m. match.
