Box Score FREDERICK, MD – The #10 Rowan University men's soccer team remains undefeated after a 2-0 win at Hood College on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Profs have a mark of 6-0 and the Blazers have a record of 4-2. Profs' goalie Kyle Dennis (so. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) made seven saves. Blazers' goalie Danny Castillo (fr. Puerto Cores, Honduras/Meade) stopped three shots. Hood outshot the Profs, 20-14. Rowan did have eight corners to Hood's five.
 
Both goals were scored in the second half. Forward Zack Sakena (so. Upper Twp, NJ/Ocean City) took a cross from midfielder Vince Guzzo (jr. Washington Twp., NJ/Washington Twp.) and put it past the keeper at the 65:40 mark. Back Nick Schlageter (fr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) added the insurance tally with 10:01 left to play. He headed in a corner kick by midfielder Tyler Logar (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.).
 
Rowan begins conference action on Saturday, Sept. 17 at New Jersey City University at 1 p.m.
