Box Score 2 ANNVILLE, PA – The Rowan University women's volleyball team lost both of its matches at the Dutchmen Quad, hosted by Lebanon Valley College on Saturday.
Franklin & Marshall defeated the Profs, 3-0 (25-19, 25-17 and 25-14) and Lebanon Valley came away with a 3-0 (26-24, 25-27 and 25-18) win. Rowan has an overall mark of 1-6. Franklin & Marshall is 7-0 and Lebanon Valley is 4-4.
Against the Diplomats, outside hitters
Erica O'Hagan (sr. Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) and
Megan Jacobi (fr. Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) recorded four kills apiece. Jacobi also had eight digs. Setter
Mary-Grace Testa (jr. Kearny, NJ/Mount St. Dominic Academy) tallied seven assists and six digs, while setter
Katelyn Paxson (fr. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) had nine assists and four digs. Defensive specialist/libero
Rebecca Dantonio (sr. Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) collected seven digs and libero/defensive specialist
Jennifer Vorel (sr. Madison, NJ/Madison) had six.
For Franklin & Marshall, outside hitter Grace Polisano (fr. Ambler, PA/Germantown Academy) had nine kills and outside hitter Sarah Landry (sr. Myrtle Beach, SC/Padua Academy) picked up seven. Outside hitter Ellie Ezekiel (sr. Chadds Ford, PA/Garnet Valley) accumulated eight kills and 16 digs. Setter Allison Edelstein (sr. Livingston, NJ/Livingston) handed out 31 assists, while libero/defensive specialist Mary Leneweaver (sr. Wilmington, DE/Ursuline Academy) had 10 digs.
Versus the Dutchmen, O'Hagan had 11 kills and six digs. Outside hitter/right side
Kristin Akin (so. Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) tallied seven kills. Testa and Paxson recorded 16 and 13 assists respectively. Dantonio collected eight digs and Vorel had seven.
For Lebanon Valley, outside hitter/middle hitter Amber Deshong (so. Bainbridge, PA/Elizabethtown) recorded 11 kills. Defensive specialist/setter Erin Koons (so. Greecastle, PA/Greencastle-Antrim) had 19 assists. Middle hitter/outside hitter Greta Weidemoyer (sr. Lititz, PA/Warwick) accumulated 18 assists, eight kills and six digs. Outside hitter Melanie Phifer (so. Ambler, PA/Upper Dublin) added 15 digs and outside hitter Abbey Barnhard (jr. Glen Rock, PA/Susquehannock) had 11.
