Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's volleyball team lost a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match to Stockton University, 3-0 on Thursday night.
The set scores were 25-19, 25-16 and 25-9. The Profs have an overall record of 7-15 and they are 3-3 in the conference. The Ospreys are 17-7 with a 5-1 mark in the NJAC.
For Stockton, middle hitter Idi Uffen (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) tallied 10 kills and four blocks. Right side Lindsay Schuele (sr. Sparta, NJ/Sparta) collected seven kills and six digs. Setter Jessica Ciandella (jr. Beachwood, NJ/Roselle Catholic) recorded 19 assists and seven digs. Defensive specialist Rebecka Zabilowicz (sr. Belmar, NJ/Red Bank Reg.) had 17 digs.
For Rowan, outside hitter
Kailey Gallagher (fr. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) contributed with seven kills. Setter
Kat Wolf (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) had 10 assists, while setter
Katelyn Paxson (fr. Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) accumulated nine assists and seven digs. Libero/defensive specialist
Jennifer Vorel (sr. Madison, NJ/Madison) chipped in with eight digs and defensive specialist/libero
Rebecca Dantonio (sr. Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) added six.
Rowan travels to Stevenson University for a tri-match on Saturday, Oct. 15. The Profs face Bethany College at 3 p.m. and Stevenson University at 7 p.m.
