ResultsSALISBURY, MD – The Rowan University men's cross country team won the Salisbury Fall Classic on Saturday. The Profs were first out of 10 teams.
Edward Freisinger (so. Stockholm, NJ/Wallkill Valley Reg.) was the first Rowan runner to finish the 8K course. He took third and had a time of 26:22.73.
Pat McCurry (sr. Waterford, NJ/Hammonton) finished fifth in 26:35.55.
Alec Trapani (so. South Brunswick, NJ/South Brunswick) had a ninth place (26:44.25) followed by
William Cheety (jr. National Park, NJ/Gateway Reg.) and
Zach Helm (jr. Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton North-Nottingham), 10th (26:47.93) and 12th (26:57.58) respectively.
John Meyer (jr. Oakland, NJ/Indian Hills) took 13th place (26:58.87).
Nick Nocco (so. Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Reg.) was 18th (27:19.89) while
Mike Marano (fr. Middletown, NJ/Middletown N.) came in 19th (27:20.58).
Nick Neville (fr. Dayton, NJ/South Brunswick) had a 24th place (27:40.88) and
Kevin Veltre (so. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) was 25th (27:41.45).
Next, Rowan travels to the Delaware Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10:45 p.m. The course is at White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, DE.
