Box Score SWARTHMORE, PA – The Swarthmore College women's soccer team defeated Rowan University, 3-0 on a rainy Saturday night. 
 
Forward Marin McCoy (fr. Denver, CO/Colorado Academy) scored the first two goals.  She had a header at 5:34 with an assist from forward Hannah Lichtenstein (jr. Venice, CA/Harvard-Westlake).  In the second half, McCoy hit the net (60:47) with a high shot.  Lichtenstein produced the third goal with a chip shot at 68:48 that hit the crossbar then went in.
 
The Garnet is undefeated with a 4-0 record and the Profs are 3-1 overall.  Goalie Reba Magier (sr. Saugus, CA/Harvard-Westlake) turned away five shots for the shutout.  Swarthmore has not allowed a goal in four games.  Rowan goalkeeper Courtney Simpson (fr. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) had nine saves.
 
The women's soccer team travels to Moravian College on Wednesday, Sept. 16 for a 4 p.m. game.
