ResultsNEWARK, DE – The Rowan University men's cross country team took second place at the Delaware Invitational on Saturday. The meet was held at White Clay Creek State Park.
Pat McCurry (sr. Waterford, NJ/Hammonton) finished eighth out of 114 runners. He ran 27:27.54 over the 8K course.
William Cheety (jr. National Park, NJ/Gateway Reg.) was 11th (27:40.73) followed by
Alec Trapani (so. South Brunswick, NJ/South Brunswick), 13th (27:43.26) and
Edward Freisinger (so. Stockholm, NJ/Wallkill Valley Reg.), 15th (27:45.49). The fifth runner to score was
Zach Helm (jr. Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton North-Nottingham), who was 17th (27:50.51).
John Meyer (jr. Oakland, NJ/Indian Hills) came in 24th (28:21.35) while
Mike Marano (fr. Middletown, NJ/Middletown N.) and
Nick Nocco (so. Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Reg.) were 26th (28:25.68) and 27th (28:28.14) respectively.
Kevin Veltre (so. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) had a 28th place (28:29.15).
Daniel "Fitch" Henry (fr. Sewell, NJ/Clearview Reg.) finished 37th (29:02.94).
Tyler Sheilds (jr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) took 48th (29:31.84) and
Matt Zamorski (fr. South Brunswick, NJ/South Brunswick) was 49th (29:34.63).
Rowan hosts the Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2:45 p.m. The race will be held at Rowan College at Gloucester County.
