Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team won 1-0 over Stockton University in the semifinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament on Tuesday evening.
The Profs (12-2-2) are the top seed in the tournament and host number two The College of New Jersey (12-2-4) on Friday, Nov. 6 in the conference final at 6 p.m. TCNJ shut out Rutgers-Newark, 5-0 in the other semifinal game.

Melissa Kelly (so. Parsippany, NJ/DePaul Catholic) recorded the game-winner at 83:35. She hit the net after a cross from the left side by midfielder
Megan Carchidi (jr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.).
Goalie
Shelby Money (fr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) stopped two shots for her fifth shutout. For the Ospreys, goalie Nicole Pallante (fr. Brick, NJ/Brick Twp.) made seven saves. Stockton has a 12-3-7 record.
The NJAC champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. In the first round (Oct. 31), Stockton defeated the fourth seed Kean University, 1-0. The sixth seed Rutgers-Newark upset the third seed Montclair State University, 1-0. Rowan and TCNJ received first round byes.
This is the Profs' 13th straight appearance in the conference tournament. Rowan won the NJAC Championship Tournament in 2008 and was the second seed. The Profs were seeded first in the conference tournament in 2011 and 2009.
