NJAC Women's Soccer BracketGLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team hosts Stockton University in the semifinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. The Profs (11-2-2) are the top seed in the tournament and Stockton (12-2-7) is seeded fifth.
In the first round (Oct. 31), Stockton defeated the fourth seed Kean University, 1-0. The sixth seed Rutgers-Newark upset the third seed Montclair State University, 1-0. In the other semifinal game, number two The College of New Jersey (11-2-4) hosts Rutgers-Newark (13-7-1) on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children, students and senior citizens. Rowan athletic passes and student IDs are not accepted for postseason tournaments.
The championship is scheduled for Friday, November 6 at the highest remaining seed. The NJAC champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
This is the Profs' 13th straight appearance in the conference tournament. Rowan won the NJAC Championship Tournament in 2008 and was the second seed. The Profs were seeded first in the conference tournament in 2011 and 2009.
Rowan clinched the number one spot with a 1-0 victory over TCNJ in the final game of the regular season (Oct. 29).
