ResultsCASTILE, NY – The Rowan University men's cross country team took fifth place out of 38 teams at the Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday. The meet was held at Letchworth State Park.
The Profs finished ahead of Dickinson College (seventh), who was ranked 23rd in the nation this week. Other teams in the national rankings were St. Lawrence University, sixth, Geneseo State, eighth and RPI, 30th. There were 534 runners that competed in the 8K race.
Pat McCurry (sr. Waterford, NJ/Hammonton) finished 27th with a time of 25:36.8.
Zach Helm (jr. Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton North-Nottingham) had a 32nd place in 25:41.3.
Kevin Veltre (so. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) was 48th (25:54.7) and
Alec Trapani (so. South Brunswick, NJ/South Brunswick) came in 64th (26:09.3).
Nick Neville (fr. Dayton, NJ/South Brunswick) and
Mike Marano (fr. Middletown, NJ/Middletown N.) were 72nd (26:14.4) and 74th (26:16.7) respectively.
Nick Nocco (so. Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Reg.) took 80th (26:19.1).
