Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ- The Rowan University men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) contest to #5 Montclair State University on Saturday night.
 
Forward Kyle Goodwin (so. South Brunswick, NJ/South Brunswick) recorded the game-winning goal with 22:26 on the clock in the second half. He scored into an empty net after a shot by forward Rafael Turci (fr. Union, NJ/Union) was saved.
 
The Profs have an overall record of 10-3 and they are 2-2 in the NJAC. The Red Hawks are 13-1 overall and they have a 5-0 mark in the conference. Montclair State keeper Mike Saalfrank (fr. Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey) stopped six shots. Rowan goalie Kyle Dennis (fr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) made four saves.
 
Forward Mike Olla (jr. Bloomfield, NJ/St. Benedict's Prep) gave the Red Hawks a 1-0 lead. He took a pass from back Rob Chernez (fr. Jersey City, NJ/St. Peter's Prep), dribbled around the charging keeper and scored inside the far post with 41:19 to play in the second half. Back Will Sjaastad (fr. Allentown, NJ/Allentown) tied the game at the 57:07 mark on a free kick from 25 yards out.
