Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's volleyball team lost its New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) match to Richard Stockton College, 3-1 on Tuesday night.
The set scores were 25-18, 26-24, 20-25 and 25-23. The Profs have an overall mark of 6-12 and they are 1-2 in the NJAC. The Ospreys' record is 18-3 and they are 4-0 in the conference.

Morgan Mende (jr. Glen Rock, NJ/Glen Rock) and opposite/outside hitter
Kelsey Mazurek (jr. Easton, PA/Easton Area) each had 11 kills for Rowan. Mazurek had a hitting percentage of .300. Outside hitter
Danielle Havlicek (jr. Midland Park, NJ/Midland Park) recorded 10 kills and six digs. Outside hitter
Erica O'Hagan (so. Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove) added eight kills and 11 digs. Setter
Mary-Grace Testa (fr. Kearny, NJ/Mount Saint Dominic Academy) tallied 22 assists and seven digs. Setter
Rebecca Dantonio (so. Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) collected 17 assists and nine digs. Libero
Jennifer Vorel (so. Madison, NJ/Madison) had 14 digs.
For Stockton, middle hitter Macy Schwartz (jr. Mahwah, NJ/Mahwah) had 13 kills and a hitting percentage of .462 and opposite Lindsay Schuele (so. Sparta, NJ/Sparta) had 12 kills with a hitting percentage of .370. Setters Shannon Clark (jr. Folsom, PA/Ridley) and Kalette DeMarrais (fr. Oradell, NJ/Riverdale) accumulated 18 and 16 assists respectively. Defensive specialist Emily Grube (sr. Orwigsburg, PA/Nativity BVM) tallied 15 digs and outside hitter Ali Giordano (jr. Waldwick, NJ/Waldwick) had eight kills and eight digs.
Rowan jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first set after kills by middle hitter
Emily Fair (so. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.), O'Hagan and Testa. The Profs held a 9-6 advantage then Stockton used a 13-4 run to go ahead 19-13. Schwartz and Schuele each had two kills during the spurt. A kill by Mende made the score 19-14, but the Ospreys would go on to win the first set.
In the second set, Rowan had an 11-10 lead and scored four of the next five points for a 15-11 advantage. Stockton scored seven straight to go ahead 18-15. The Profs fought back and tied the set at 22 and took a 23-22 lead on a kill by O'Hagan. Schwartz tied the set at 23 with a kill. Middle hitter/outside hitter
Maggie Catherina (jr. Ridgefield, NJ/Ridgefield Mem.) recorded a kill for a 24-24 tie. The Ospreys scored the final two points, winning it on an ace by outside hitter Kara Glynn (fr. Severna Park, MD/Severna Park).
The third set was tied at five, eight and 12. Rowan then scored three straight for a 15-12 advantage. A kill by Catherina gave the Profs a 19-16 lead. The Ospreys trimmed the deficit to 21-20, but Rowan scored the final four points, including a kill by Testa to take the set.
Set four was tied five times early on. Kills by middle hitter Idi Uffen (so. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) and Schele gave Stockton a 10-8 lead. The score was then tied at 14 and 15 before two straight points by the Ospreys gave them a 17-15 advantage. Rowan knotted the set at 21 on a kill by Mende, but two straight kills by Giordano gave Stockton a 23-21 lead. Mende made it 23-22 with a kill and Havlicek trimmed the deficit with a kill to 24-23, but Schwartz ended the match with a kill.
Rowan hosts New Jersey City University on Thursday, October 2 at 7 p.m.
