Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WASHINGTON, DC – The Rowan University women's volleyball team dropped two matches at the Worthington Classic on Friday.
 
The Worthington Classic is hosted by Gallaudet University. The Profs lost to #1 Hope College, 3-0 and to Messiah College, 3-0. Rowan has an overall record of 6-9.
 
The set scores against Hope were 25-14, 25-8 and 25-16. Opposite/outside hitter Kelsey Mazurek (jr. Easton, PA/Easton Area) led Rowan with five kills. Outside hitter Danielle Havlicek (jr. Midland Park, NJ/Midland Park) had four kills. Setters Mary-Grace Testa (fr. Kearny, NJ/Mount Saint Dominic Academy) and Rebecca Dantonio (so. Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) recorded eight and seven assists respectively. Libero Jennifer Vorel (so. Madison, NJ/Madison) collected 10 digs.
 
Against Messiah, middle hitter Morgan Mende (jr. Glen Rock, NJ/Glen Rock) tallied nine kills. Dantonio had 10 assists and eight digs, while Testa accumulated eight assists and six digs. Vorel amassed 15 digs and Havlicek had six. The set scores were 25-17, 25-16 and 25-15.
 
Rowan continues play at the Worthington Classic on Saturday against Marymount University at 10 a.m.
