Results

NEW YORK, NY – The Rowan University women's indoor track team competed at the Armory Collegiate Invitational on Saturday.  It was the second and final day of the meet.   

The 4x400 meter relay New Jersey/New York took third place with a time of 3:56.36.  The relay included Tashay Wilson (jr. Hillside, NJ/Hillside), Shailah Williams (so. Pemberton, NJ/Pemberton Twp.), Brianna Crofton (jr. Franklinville, NJ/Delsea Reg.) and Melirah Searcy (jr. Edison, NJ/Edison).  Williams, Jamie Thompson (sr. Monmouth Jct., NJ/South Brunswick), Nia Lawrence (fr. Hainesport, NJ/Pemberton Twp.) and Searcy were on the 4x200 meter relay championship that came in 13th (1:44.17).  Both relays had season best times. 

Samantha Stapleton (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) finished 48th (5:21.09) in the one mile college.

Rowan returns to the Armory on Friday, February 14 for the Lafayette-Rider Winter Games that starts at 11 a.m.
