NEW YORK, NY – The Rowan University women's indoor track team competed at the Armory Collegiate Invitational on Friday.  The two-day meet continues on Saturday at 8 a.m.

Jamie Thompson (sr. Monmouth Jct., NJ/South Brunswick) came in 12th in the 60 meter hurdles college with a time of 9.02.  She was 43rd in the long jump college with 17' 1.5" (5.22 meters). 

The distance medley relay college took 12th place with a time of 12:22.92.  The relay included Melirah Searcy (jr. Edison, NJ/Edison), Tashay Wilson (jr. Hillside, NJ/Hillside), Jessalynn Wright (so. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) and Christin Bettis (so. Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton).

Shailah Williams (so. Pemberton, NJ/Pemberton Twp.) finished 30th (7.91) in the 60 meter dash college.  She was 41st (26.04) in the 200 meters college.  Paige Brown (fr. Princeton, NJ/W. Windsor-Plainsboro S.) came in 45th (9.47) in the 60 meter hurdles college while Jessica Carlson (sr. Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Reg.) and Rebecca Malos (fr. Wall, NJ/Wall) were 51st (9.59) and 53rd (9.61) respectively. 

In the 60 meter dash college, Nia Lawrence (fr. Hainesport, NJ/Pemberton Twp.) finished tied for 48th (8.07) and Lexxus Matos (fr. Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) was 62nd (8.28).  Lawrence also had a 64th place (26.97) in the 200 meters college.  Searcy finished 58th (59.00) in the 400 meters college.
