Box Score GALLOWAY, NJ – The Richard Stockton College men's basketball team held on for a 68-63 win over Rowan University in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Tuesday night.
Guard Armin Cane (jr. Pleasantville, NJ/Pleasantville) recorded a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Josh Blamon (sr. Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) scored 22 points. The Ospreys, ranked 15th, are undefeated with a 6-0 record and they have a 1-0 NJAC mark. The Profs are 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

Ike Robinson (jr. Trenton, NJ/Conwell-Egan Catholic (PA)) contributed with 15 points and six boards. Forward
Mike Simpson (sr. Sicklerville, NJ/Winslow Twp.) produced 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Guard
Kris O'Connor (jr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Paul VI) tallied nine points with three three-pointers. Center
Dan Brogan (jr. Northvale, NJ/Northern Valley Old Tappan) had six rebounds. Forward
Skylar Moore (jr. Westville, NJ/Hempstead (NY)) totaled five assists and five boards.
In the second half, Stockton was ahead by eight points (46-38) with 11:44 remaining. The Profs had their first lead of the game, 48-47 after a 10-1 run that ended at 8:26. Simpson put Rowan up with two foul shots (8:26). Cane knotted the score at 55 (5:25) with two shots from the line. O'Connor sank a three for a three-point advantage (58-55) at 4:57. Forward Anthony Woodard (sr. Atlantic City, NJ/Atlantic City) made two free throws (4:40) and Blamon had a three-pointer (3:56), which put the Ospreys on top 60-58. With 2:52 on the clock, O'Connor's three gave Rowan a one-point advantage (61-60).
Forward Marcus Harmon (fr. Whitesboro, NJ/Middle Twp.) had two foul shots (2:23) and Stockton took the lead, 62-61. Cane followed with a layup (2:11) and the score was 64-61. Robinson's tip-in cut the deficit to one (64-63). Blamon sealed the win with a jump shot (1:19) and two foul shots (0:25). He scored 12 points in the final period and Cane totaled 15.
The Ospreys started the game with nine straight points in 2:20. They led by 10 points (12-2) after a three-pointer (15:22) by Blamon. The Profs pulled within three (20-17) when guard
Josh Borrelli (so. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) drained a three (10:22). Harmon put Stockton ahead 26-17 with a three-pointer at 8:57. Forward
Chris Gross (jr. Cranford, NJ/Roselle Catholic) had a layup (5:19) and Rowan trailed 28-24.
The Ospreys were ahead by eight points (32-24) after Cane's layup with 1:59 left. Brogan sank two foul shots (1:36) and forward
Daniel Waynick (sr. East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) hit a jumper (0:38) to end the half. Stockton had a 32-28 advantage at the break.
Rowan travels to Cabrini College on Saturday, November 29 for the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. The men's basketball team plays Rosemont College at noon. Neumann University tips off against Penn State Abington at 2:15 p.m. followed by Dickinson College against Cabrini at 4:30 p.m.
