Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team played Montclair State University to a 1-1 draw in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Saturday night.
 
The Profs are 9-2-1 overall while the Red Hawks have a 11-1-1 record. The two teams are tied at the top of the conference at 4-0-1. Rowan had 12 shots and Montclair State recorded 18. Goalkeeper Carleigh Trivino (so. Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) stopped 11 shots. Red Hawks goalie Gina Policastro (sr. East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) made five saves.
 
Rowan scored just 2:44 into the match. Midfielder/forward Melissa Kelly (fr. Parsippany, NJ/DePaul Catholic) knocked in a corner kick from midfielder/forward Jess Durnian (sr. Brick, NJ/Brick Twp.). Montclair State evened the score at 66:07. Midfielder Erin Sullivan's (so. Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) corner kick was settled by forward Martina Landeka (jr. Westfield, NJ/Westfield) before she snuck the ball in under the crossbar.
 
The Profs travel to Richard Stockton College for a NJAC game on Wednesday, October 15 at 6 p.m.
