NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA – The Rowan University men's cross country team took fourth place at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.  There were 28 teams that competed in the varsity race.

Rob Rawls (so. Runnemede, NJ/Triton Reg.) came in third with a time of 25:07 over the 8K course.  Jon Sewnig (jr. Yardville, NJ/Notre Dame) ran 25:12 and took fourth place.  Tim Dole (so. Mantua, NJ/Clearview Reg.) finished 25th (26:36) followed by Joe Capolino (so. Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) and Carlos Coronado (fr. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack), 28th (26:46) and 30th (26:53) respectively.  Ethan Wolmark (sr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) finished 36th (27:08) and Raj Singh (jr. Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany Hills) was 43rd (27:21). 

In the sub varsity race, Mike Davies (jr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) was the winner in 26:36.  Adam Ross (so. Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) came in fourth (27:03) followed by Rob Buzby (jr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee), fifth (27:10) and Dave Quimby (jr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape), sixth (27:11).  Joe Hartline (so. Williamstown, NJ/Buena Reg.) finished 10th (27:26) and Zach Helm (fr. Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) was 14th (27:40).  Tyler Sheilds (fr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) and Mike Lewis (jr Dowingtown, PA/Downingtown W.) were 16th (27:45) and 17th (27:46) respectively.  The Profs won the sub varsity race among 12 schools.
