Box Score GALLOWAY, NJ – Rowan University dropped its New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) opener tonight at Richard Stockton College, 3-0. The Ospreys won 25-12, 26-24, 25-16 to improve their record to 5-4 while the Profs are now 5-5 on the season.

Middle hitter Elaina Hansen (sr., Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) had eight kills and a block assist for Rowan. Setter Rebecca Dantonio (fr., Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) recorded 22 assists and nine digs, while libero Casey Grasso (sr., Wilmington, DE/Alexis I. duPont) accumulated seven digs and a service ace. Middle hitter Morgan Mende (so., Glen Rock, NJ/Glen Rock) ended the match with six kills, a dig and a block assist.

Rowan will have the weekend off before returning to action on Tuesday, September 24 against Rutgers-Newark at 7 p.m.
