WOODLAND PARK, NJ – The Rowan University men's cross country team won the Roadrunner Invitational at Garret Mountain on Saturday. The Profs were first among nine teams.
Rob Rawls (so. Runnemede, NJ/Triton Reg.) was first overall with a time of 26:25.6. Jon Sewnig (jr. Yardville, NJ/Notre Dame) finished third in 27:01.2 and Tim Dole (so. Mantua, NJ/Clearview Reg.) followed, sixth (27:15.8). Jeff Tauriello (sr. Florham Park, NJ/Hanover Park) captured 12th place (27:28.0) and Joe Capolino (so. Old Bridge, NJ/Old Bridge) was 22nd (27:44.9).
Carlos Coronado (fr. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) placed 30th in 28:08.2. Ethan Wolmark (sr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) had a 33rd place with a time of 28:18.8. Raj Singh (jr. Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany Hills) took 41st (28:33.5) and Dan Murray (so. Seaville, NJ/Ocean City) was 45th (28:43.2). Jesse Spector (jr. Rockaway, NJ/Morris Hills) ran a time of 28:46.0 for 47th.
Rowan will compete at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational in North Dartmouth, MA on Saturday, September 21 at 10:30 a.m.
