Box Score UNION, NJ – Forward Christian Fountain's goal at the 101:55 mark in double overtime gave Rowan University a 2-1 victory over Kean University on Thursday in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game.

The Profs are 10-8 overall and 3-5 in the NJAC, while the Cougars have an overall mark of 9-8-1 and they are 0-7-1 in NJAC play.

Fountain (jr. Fredricksburg, VA/Stafford) got credit for the goal as he pushed the ball into the net after a corner kick.

Midfielder Shane Kohler (jr. Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central Reg.) put Rowan on the scoreboard at 20:04 as he redirected forward Dylan Smith's (sr. Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) free kick past the goalie. Kean tied the game at the 75:50 mark when forward Stephen Moll (sr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Mem.) converted a penalty kick.

Rowan goalie Ryan Gill (sr. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) made 10 saves. Goalie Tyler Callahan (sr. Landsville, NJ/Buena Reg.) stopped eight shots.

Rowan will return to action on Wednesday, October 30 as it hosts The College of New Jersey in the regular season finale.
