Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team defeated Richard Stockton College, 3-1 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Wednesday night.
Forward Erika Suhl (jr. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) led the Profs with two goals and forward Tiffany Kelly (so. Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) had one. Rowan has a 10-1 record with a 3-0 conference mark. Richard Stockton is 8-4 overall and 2-2 in the NJAC.
Forward Lexi Stasi (jr. Cranbury, NJ/Princeton) put the Ospreys on the scoreboard at 19:43 with an assist from midfielder Adrianna Boucher (fr. Hamilton, NJ/Steinert). Kelly tied the score when she knocked in a loose ball that got behind goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle (sr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Paul VI). In the second half, Suhl hit the net at 56:25 and 75:09.
The Profs took 11 shots and the Ospreys registered seven. Rowan goalkeeper Carleigh Trivino (fr. Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) made six saves while Hinkle had two.
Rowan is home again on Saturday, October 5 against conference opponent William Paterson University at 1 p.m.
