Results

BRONX, NY – The Rowan University men’s cross country team finished fifth at the Fordham Fiasco on Saturday.  The five mile race was held at Van Cortlandt Park. 

East Stroudsburg University won the team championship with 25 points among the 13 Division II and III teams.  For the Profs, Jon Sewnig (so. Yardville, NJ/Notre Dame) took 18th place with a time of 28:33.15.  Ethan Wolmark (jr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) came in 27th (28:57.40) while Jesse Spector (so. Rockaway, NJ/Morris Hills) was 33rd (29:24.78).  Tim Dole (fr. Mantua, NJ/Clearview Reg.) and Adam Ross (fr. Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) were 36th (29:28.32) and 38th (29:33.05) respectively. 

Rob Buzby (so. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) was 47th (29:58.51) followed by Raj Singh (so. Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany Hills) who was 51st (30:12.03).  Will Smith (so. Cranford, NJ/Cranford) had a 55th place (30:21.09) and Mike Lewis (so. Glen Mills, PA/Downingtown W.) was 65th (30:46.35).  Joe Mineo (jr. Sewell, NJ/Ocean City) came in 71st (31:03.64) while Evan Norwood (jr. Matawan, NJ/Matawan Reg.) was 76th (31:12.13).  Joe Hartline (fr. Williamstown, NJ/Buena Reg.) finished 78th (31:14.72) and Dan Murray (fr. Seaville, NJ/Ocean City) took 80th (31:25.72).  Sean Ras (fr. Middletown, NJ/Middletown) came in 83rd (31:37.42).

Next, Rowan travels to North Dartmouth, MA for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 15.
