PRINCETON, NJ – Rowan University’s Jena Peacock competed at the Larry Ellis Memorial Invitational on Friday evening.  The two-day invitational is being held at Princeton University.

Jena Peacock (sr. Williamstown, NJ/Our Lady of Mercy Academy) finished 13th out of 39 competitors in the 3000 meter steeplechase.  Her time of 10:39.70 was a career best and school record.  Peacock improved on the University mark of 10:44.76 that she had at the Sam Howell Invitational (Apr. 6).  She currently has the top time in the 3000 meter steeplechase in the NCAA Division III.  

There are over 2000 athletes accepted for the Larry Ellis Memorial Invitational from more than 200 collegiate teams and track clubs.
