PRINCETON, NJ – The Rowan University men’s cross country team competed at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday.  The Profs took 24th place in the 8K championship race.

Jon Sewnig (so. Yardville, NJ/Notre Dame) finished 119th among 212 runners from Divisions I, II and III with a time of 25:53.  Ethan Wolmark (jr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) took 136th (26:04) followed by Tim Dole (fr. Mantua, NJ/Clearview Reg.), 154th (26:27).  Jeff Tauriello (jr. Florham Park, NJ/Hanover Park) had a 162nd place in 26:35.  Mike Carotenuto (sr. Port Monmouth, NJ/Middletown N.) captured 176th (27:01).  Adam Ross (fr. Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) and Joe Hartline (fr. Williamstown, NJ/Buena Reg.) were 183rd (27:12) and 198th (27:44) respectively.

The Profs took eighth in the open 8K race.  There were 130 runners from 13 institutions.  Rowan’s results from the open race are:

Rowan hosts the Collegiate Track Conference Championships on Saturday, October 20 at 12:30 p.m.  The 8K race will be held at Gloucester County College in Sewell, NJ.
