NEW YORK, NY – Rowan University’s Eric DuBois and Jena Peacock both ran NCAA provisional times in the 5000 meters at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational on Saturday. The invitational was held at the Armory.

DuBois (jr. Pittsgrove, NJ/A.P. Schalick) finished seventh with a time of 14:47.0 which was a career best. Prior this season, he ran the 5000 meters in 15:04.64 at the NYC Gotham Cup. The NCAA provisional for the men’s 5000 meters (banked track) stands at 14:49.40. Peacock (jr. Williamstown, NJ/Our Lady of Mercy Academy) took eighth place in 17:32.82 which is better than the NCAA provisional (banked track) of 17:38.70.

Next week, Rowan travels to Wesleyan University (CT) for the CTC Championships on Saturday, February 12.
