DOVER, DE – The Rowan University women’s volleyball won two matches at a tri-match on Saturday afternoon.  The Profs defeated Immaculata University, 3-1 and host Wesley College,    3-2.

Rowan improves to 8-6 overall.  Against Immaculata (6-6), the set scores were 25-18, 25-13,   25-27 and 25-21.  The Profs’ were led by outside hitter/middle blocker Krissy Collins (so. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) with nine kills.  Outside hitter/middle blocker Kirstin Sciolaro (so. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) followed with seven kills and two blocks.  Outside hitters/middle blockers Sarah Hanrahan (fr. Montvale, NJ/Pascack Hills) and Dakota Oeskovic (so. Pine Beach, NJ/Toms River S.) both registered six kills.  Libero Lauren Ruffalo (so. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) tallied 25 digs.  Setter Kelsey Donovan (so. Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) compiled 23 assists, six digs and two blocks.

Versus Wesley (1-14), the set scores were 28-26, 25-22, 25-27, 24-26 and 15-10.  Oeskovic posted 10 kills and two blocks.  Collins added four kills, two service aces and two blocks.  Donovan totaled 17 assists, 10 digs and two aces.  Ruffalo chipped in with 23 digs.  Hanrahan had eight digs, four blocks and two service aces.

Rowan travels to conference opponent William Paterson University on Tuesday, October 4 at 7 p.m.
