Rowan Results

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Rowan University women’s track team had three individuals and two relays compete at the Penn Relays on Thursday.

Jenn Rawls (fr. Runnemede, NJ/Highland Reg.) finished 19th in the college 5000 meters championships (event #77). She had a time of 16:55.16 which was a NCAA provisional (17:35.00). Currently, Rawls has the top time in Division III among the national qualifiers. She ran 16:41.75 at the Larry Ellis Invitational (Apr. 16).

Jena Peacock (so. Williamstown, NJ/Our Lady of Mercy Academy) captured 13th in the college women’s 3000 meter steeplechase (event #75) with a time of 11:00.44, which was a NCAA provisional (11:13.00). Peacock’s top time this season in the 3000 meter steeplechase was 11:00.00 at the Penn Invitational (Apr. 3).

The 4x400 meter relay took second place in 3:59.17 in the Collegiate Track Conference race (event #66). The relay consisted of Jacqui Nisbett (jr. Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury), Tiffany Chamberlain (fr. Burlington, NJ/Burlington Twp.), Beverlee Brownlee (fr. Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro) and Amirah Muneer (so. Ewing, NJ/Ewing). Their time was a season best.

Chamberlain finished 42nd overall in the college 400 meter hurdles (event #3). She had a time of 63.66. The 4x100 meter relay was 75th (49.07) in the college race (event #12). Heidi DeGuzman (so. Central Islip, NJ/Pennsauken), Muneer, Brownlee and Sylvia Mosley (so. Pleasantville, NJ/Pleasantville) were on the relay. The Profs’ results at the Penn Relays are available at:

Rowan will travel to The College of New Jersey on Saturday, April 24 for the Lions’ Invitational that starts at 10:30 a.m.
