JERSEY CITY, NJ – Four players scored in double figures to lead the Rowan University women’s basketball team to a 75-51 victory over New Jersey City University in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Saturday afternoon. 
The Profs (11-6 overall, 5-2 NJAC) were led by forward Amanda Jennings (sr. Turnersville, NJ/Washington Twp.) with 22 points and five rebounds. Forward Michelle Lala (sr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) posted a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guards Gina Catanzariti (jr. Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) and Danielle Rohe (sr. Dumont, NJ/Dumont) contributed with 15 and 13 points respectively. Guard Alissa Lamey (so. Northfield, NJ/Mainland Reg.) dished six assists. 
The Gothic Knights fall to 4-12 overall and 2-5 in the conference. Forward Lindia Fischer (fr. Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) recorded 13 points and nine rebounds. Guards Ebony Cunningham (so. E. Orange, NJ/E. Orange Campus) and Miesha Cooke (jr. Paterson, NJ/Sports Business Academy) registered 12 points apiece. Guard Latifah Johnson (fr. Newark, NJ/University) followed with 10 points and four assists. Guard Pria Duhaney (fr. Union, NJ/Orange) grabbed eight boards. 
Rowan began the game with a 17-4 run over the first 8:51. Jennings and Catanzariti each had five points in the stretch. New Jersey City fought back with an 11-2 surge to pull within four (19-15) at 7:39. Cunningham posted six points, while Fischer and Johnson added three and two points respectively. The Profs were up by five (21-16) following a jumper by Jennings at 4:54. Rowan outscored New Jersey City, 9-2 over the next 3:45 for a 12 point advantage (30-18). Catanzariti compiled four points, Lala had three and guard Chanelle Banta (so. Bergenfield, NJ/Bergenfield) added two. Cooke’s three-pointer with 11 seconds remaining made the score, 30-21 at the intermission. Catanzariti totaled nine points in the first period. Cunningham posted eight points for the Gothic Knights. 
In the second half, Rowan was ahead 34-30 at 17:43. The Profs went on a 14-4 run that ended at 13:33. Jennings led the way with five points. New Jersey City cut the deficit to 11 (56-45) after a layup by Fischer at 6:55. Rowan scored six straight points to push the lead to 17 (62-45) with 5:27 left. Fischer’s layup at 3:55 brought the Gothic Knights within 13 (62-49). The Profs closed out the game with a 13-2 surge. Forward Courtney Hulsart (fr. South Amboy, NJ/South Amboy) recorded four points in the stretch. Jennings totaled 15 second half points. Rohe and Lala followed with 10 points apiece. Fischer and Johnson registered eight and seven points respectively for the Gothic Knights.
