GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women’s volleyball team hosted a tri-match with Washington College (MA) and Marymount University (VA) on Saturday. In the first match, Washington College defeated Rowan 3-0. Marymount recorded 3-0 shutouts over Washington and Rowan in the second and third matches.

Against Rowan, Washington had set scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 27-25. For the Profs, middle blocker Chelsea Bowman (sr. Penns Grove, NJ/Park Bible Academy) totaled 11 kills and opposite Megan Mondelli (fr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) contributed with nine. Setter Chrissy McKay (sr. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) compiled 27 assists and seven digs. Libero Casey Roselle (jr. Sparta, NJ/Sparta) registered 19 digs and outside hitter Katie Havlicek (fr. Midland Park, NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) followed with 18.

Marymount defeated Washington 25-20, 25-19 and 25-17. In the final match, Marymount won 25-14, 25-23 and 27-25 over Rowan. Bowman led the Profs with 12 kills. McKay accumulated 26 assists and 15 digs. Roselle recorded 19 digs while Havlicek added 16.

Rowan returns to its conference schedule at William Paterson University on Tuesday, October 6 at 7 p.m.
