SELINSGROVE, PA – The Rowan University volleyball team played two more matches on Saturday at the Crusader Classic. Misercordia University defeated Rowan, 3-1 and Richard Stockton had a 3-0 shutout. The two-day classic was hosted by Susquehanna University.

In the first match, Misercordia won with set scores of 21-25, 25-23, 28-26 and 25-18. Outside hitter Alexis Louie (sr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) totaled 12 kills and 18 digs for the Profs. Setter Chrissy McKay (jr. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) compiled 33 assists and 16 digs. Middle blocker Chelsea Bowman (jr. Penns Grove, NJ/Salem County Christian Academy) contributed with 10 kills and four blocks. Libero Casey Roselle (so. Sparta, NJ/Sparta) recorded 24 digs.

Against Richard Stockton, Bowman had five kills and one block. Roselle and Louie registered 11 and 10 digs respectively. The Ospreys had set scores of 25-11, 25-11 and 25-22.
Louie and Roselle were named to the All-Tournament Team. Rowan (11-15) travels to conference opponent Rutgers-Newark on Tuesday, October 21 for a 7 p.m. match.
