Russo (jr. Westfield, NJ/Westfield) took 17^thplace (26:53.6) at the NCAA Cross Country Atlantic Region Championships. He was one of seven from the region that were selected for the NCAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, WI. Russo earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Region honors.

The top seven individual finishers from each region not on one of the team qualifiers earned an invitation to the national championships. Rowan finished eighth in the team scoring out of 45 schools.
