Galante (sr. Mount Laurel, NJ/Collingswood) produced two goals and one assist in a 3-1 win against Ursinus College in the season opener.
 
She scored twice in the first half and the Profs led 2-1 at the break. Her first goal came on a breakaway (14:05) with a shot into the cage from the 10-yard line.  Ursinus tied the score less than two minutes later.
 
Galante blasted a shot inside the circle (32:27) for her second goal on a pass from forward Krystyna Hovel (fr. Gibbsboro, NJ/Eastern Reg.) who took a penalty corner.  Forward Bridget Guinan (fr. Pottstown, PA/Owen J. Roberts) added some insurance with her first collegiate score at 41:07 and Galante had an assist.
