Right-hander Danny Serreino (jr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) led the baseball team to the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) title, earning two victories during the conference tournament. He allowed just two runs in seven innings of work while striking out eight during Rowan’s 14-2 opening-round win at Rutgers-Camden (May 1). In the NJAC Championship Game, Serreino allowed just one run and three hits while striking out 10 in a complete game, 4-1 victory over Ramapo College. He was named the NJAC Pitcher of the Week.
