Promise Fadahunsi (fr. Jamesburg, NJ/Monroe Twp.) had an impressive outing at the Ramapo Season Opener (Jan. 19). She won the long jump with a school record distance of 18’ 3.25” (5.57 m). Fadahunsi surpassed the previous standard of 18’ 1.75” (5.53 m), set by Jamie Thompson in 2014. She also placed third in the 200 meters with a time of 26.46. Fadahunsi earned her third New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week honor.
