Center April Szymczyk (sr. Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) led the women’s basketball team to a 91-65 victory at Kean University (Jan. 3). She posted career highs of 25 points, 19 rebounds, four assists and four blocks. Szymczyk was 8-of-13 from the field and 9-for-14 from the free throw line. She grabbed 13 of her boards on the defensive end. Szymczyk ranks first on the squad in rebounding (8.7 rpg) and blocks (15) and is second in scoring (13.8 ppg).
