Lauren Shannon (fr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) ended the regular season with two more victories for the softball team. She was 2-1 with 11 strikeouts and a 2.55 ERA in 11 innings. Shannon earned the win in both games against Rutgers-Newark (Apr. 27), pitching three innings in each game. She surrendered just one hit while striking out three in the opener, an 11-2 Profs' victory. Shannon held the Scarlet Raiders without a hit in the nightcap while earning credit for the combined 13-0 shutout. She was named the NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week for the fourth time this season.
