Kyle Hayes (fr. Pt. Pleasant, NJ/Pt. Pleasant Boro) won the long jump at the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships (Feb. 25). He recorded a leap of 22’ 9” (6.93 meters). Hayes also took fourth place in the triple jump with a distance of 41’ 8.75” (12.72 meters). He captured seventh in the 55 meters (6.70) and tied for ninth in the 200 meters (23.38). Hayes currently has the fourth best distance in the long jump (23’ 3.5”, 7.10 meters) in Division III, which he recorded at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 18).
