Forward Kate Matthews (gr. Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) led the women’s basketball team to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament and earned NJAC Player of the Week honors. She recorded her 16th double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds in a 93-75 victory over SUNY New Paltz (Mar. 4) in the first round. Matthews scored 12 points and had nine rebounds against Amherst College (Mar. 5) in the second round. Matthews ended the season with 10.7 points and 12.0 rebounds per contest. She concluded her career with 1,135 points and 989 rebounds.
