John Morris (so. Bridgeton, NJ/Cumberland Reg.) was named the Metropolitan Championships Male Diver of the Meet after winning the one-meter and three-meter events (Feb. 20-21). He won the one-meter with 494.55 points. Morris scored 521.10 points in the prelims. On the three-meter board, Morris accumulated 536.25 points. He was in first place after the prelim (544.65). He earned New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Diver of the Week recognition for the seventh time. Morris has qualified for the NCAA Northeast/South Diving Regional on Fri.-Sat., Feb. 27-28 at SUNY Geneseo.
