Jason Sofman (sr. West Milford, NJ/West Milford) was named the New Jersey Athletic Confer- ence (NJAC) Player of the Week after leading the men’s basketball team to two victories. In the Profs, 83-64 win at Kean University (Feb. 6), he scored a career-high 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had two blocks and a steal. In the 90-86 victory over Ramapo College (Feb. 8), Sofman tallied 14 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks. He averaged 17 points and 7.5 rebounds for the week. He made 14 of 17 field goals and had a field goal percentage of .824. This season, he is producing 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest. Sofman is leadingthe NJAC in field goal percentage (.646).
