Backup quarterback Bill McCarty (so. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) guided the football team to a 24-17 win over 11th ranked Wesley College (Oct. 19). McCarty completed a 71-yard touchdown pass with 3:03 remaining for the victory. He also had a two yard touchdown toss, which put the Profs up 10-3 in the third quarter. McCarty ended the game with four completions in five attempts and 81 yards.
