Catcher Nicolina Veneziano (sr. Bloomfield, NJ/Bloomfield) batted .500 with 11 RBIs, six runs scored, three home runs and one double in a 3-1 week for the softball team. In two games versus The College of New Jersey (Apr. 24), she totaled four hits (nine at bats), six RBIs, three runs scored, two homers and one double. In a doubleheader at New Jersey City University (Apr. 28), Veneziano collected two hits (three at bats), five RBIs, three runs scored and one home run. In the first game against TCNJ, she broke the school record for career home runs (21 by Jami Musey, 1994-97). In 170 games, Veneziano has 24 homers. She was chosen the NJAC Player of the Week. This year, she is hitting .350 with 36 RBIs, 34 runs scored, eight doubles, six home runs and three triples.
