Jena Peacock (so. Williamstown, NJ/Our Lady of Mercy Academy) finished third in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships (May 13-14) with a school record time of 10:53.72. She broke her previous mark of 11:00.00, which she set earlier this year at the Penn Invitational (Apr. 3). Peacock’s time was also better than the NCAA provisional (11:13.00). She captured ninth place in the 1500 meters (4:41.35). For her performance, Peacock was selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Track Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season.
