Jena Peacock (so. Williamstown, NJ/Our Lady of Mercy Academy) opened the 2010 outdoor track and field season with an excellent performance at the Wake Forest Open (Mar. 19-20). She captured second place against college competition and finished third overall in the 3000 meter steeplechase. Her time of 11:06.74 was a NCAA provisional (11:13.00). Peacock also surpassed her own school record of 11:50.96, which she set last year. She was selected the NJAC Track Athlete of the Week.
