Forward Michelle Lala (sr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) led the women’s basketball team to a 2-0 week. At home against Richard Stockton College (Jan. 20), Lala totaled 19 points and 12 rebounds. At New Jersey City University (Jan. 23), she posted another double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. For her performance, Lala was chosen the NJAC Player of the Week. This season, she is averaging 10.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Lala is shooting .416 from the field and has recorded 30 steals.
