Tim Dimond (fr. Allentown, PA/Emmaus) helped guided the men’s swim team to a fourth place finish at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational (Dec. 5-6). He took second place in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:43.50, which broke the Rowan record held by Fred Burwell (4:43.85 in 1990). Dimond captured fifth place in the 200 butterfly (2:00.89). He was part of the third place 200 (1:38.71) and 400 medley (3:35.76) and 400 freestyle (3:14.24) relays. Dimond also swam the first leg of the fourth place 800 freestyle relay (7:14.92). For his performance, he was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week.
