Goalkeeper Charlie Cunliffe (jr. Lakewood, NJ/Lakewood) guided the men’s soccer team to a 2-0 week. In the final game of the regular season at Rutgers-Camden (Oct. 28), Cunliffe made nine saves. He stopped five shots in a 1-0 victory over William Paterson University in the first round on the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament. It was his seventh shutout of the year. For his performance, Cunliffe received NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. He is first in the conference with an 86.8 save percentage.
