Second baseman Lauren Navarro (jr. West Milford, NJ/West Milford) led the softball team with at .462 batting average in a 4-0 week. Navarro totaled six hits (13 at bats), four runs scored, one RBI and one double. In a doubleheader against Rutgers-Newark (Apr. 21), she recorded three hits in six trips to the plate, two runs scored, one RBI and a double. In Rowan’s doubleheader sweep of The College of New Jersey (Apr. 22), Navarro was a combined three for seven with two runs scored. This season, Navarro has a .379 batting average with 21 runs scored, 13 RBIs and seven doubles.
