Smith College

Right fielder Heidi Smith (fr. Hainesport, NJ/Rancocas Valley Reg.) hit .500 in a 1-3 week for the softball team. Smith compiled seven hits in 14 plate appearances, four RBIs, two runs scored, a home run and a double. In the first game of a doubleheader with Richard Stockton College, Smith went two for four with three RBIs, two runs scored and a homer.  In game two, she added one hit (three at bats) and one RBI. In two games at Ramapo College, Smith was four for seven with a double. For her performance, she was selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week. Smith is second on the team with a .403 batting average and has 14 runs scored and 10 RBIs.
